What is TriStar’s primary business?

TriStar provides warehousing-related services for importers requiring USDA clearance, plus short and medium term storage. Repeat customers are normally given real time access to inventory data, which requires some upfront coordination to scan product into our proprietary inventory management system.

TriStar also manages the receiving, warehousing, USDA inspections, labeling, dating and documentation required for export customers. These services greatly exceed the tasks carried out by traditional colds storage facilities.

Receiving and processing a wide range of goods for kitting or pick and pack. Example: a mix of up to a dozen products must be packed into a single carton, labeled, palletized and prepped for pickup. The contents of those boxes arrive at TriStar’s Belcamp facility in multiple trucks from multiple points, requiring careful coordination between the customer and TriStar’s logistics support team.

proPak, TriStar’s custom repacking services often involve converting a typical 10- to 40-lb carton into smaller inner bags or packages and often smaller cartons. The inner packs are often clear sealed bags with pack labels to comply with customer (and USDA) requirements.

Where is TriStar located?

TriStar is located about 30 minutes north of Baltimore at 4610 Mercedes Drive in the Riverside Business Park in Belcamp, Maryland. Take Exit 80 off I-95. TriStar is about four minutes away.

TriStar offers a price list for most ordinary services not requiring customization. We can proivide that list to you once we determine your specific needs.
